How to Configure a Recommended Resource

You can configure YOUR VIEW so that databases, websites, persons, library information, or library guides can appear based on a searchable tag (word or phrase).  For detailed instructions, please consult Resource Recommender for Primo VE. 

  1. Configuration Menu > Discovery > Other > Resource Recommender Configuration.
  2. You will see 9 categories of resource types that can be used.

  3. Pick the appropriate resource > More actions (...) > Edit.
  4. Click Add Resourceand specify the necessary fields such as Key, Name, Description, Tags, and other relevant information.  Refer to the instructions for help. 
  5. In the Views field Delete All Views delete All and select YOUR COLLEGE VIEW only.  
  6. Select Add and Close to add the new recommendation.
  7. Test that your resource is activated in Primo VE by searching with one of your tags.
