Loan a Requested Item:
- Verify that you are at the correct circulation desk.

- Select Fulfillment > Checkin/Checkout > Manage Patron Services.
- Search for the patron requesting the item.
- If the patron doesn't exist, select
.
- Click Go.
- Scan the item's barcode or type it in, then click OK.
- Alternatively, select
to open the Physical Items repository search page, search for the item, and then select it. The Physical Items page closes, and the item's barcode is inserted into the Scan item barcode field.
- Choose an item and click Select. The item's barcode is displayed in the Scan item barcode field.
- Select OK. The item details are displayed in the Patron Services Loan tab.
- Before moving to the next patron or next activity at the circulation desk, you must select
(top right corner) to end each patron session.
- You are returned to the Patron Identification page.
View the Patron Record:
- Go to Fulfillment > Checkout/Check in> Manage Patron Services.
- Enter the patron's MEID or name. Click Go. Or use
to find the patron.
- Click on the appropriate tab.
- Loans (to check out an item or display all loans)
- Returns (to return an item or display all recent returned items)
- Requests (to display all requests for this patron)
Return an Item:
- Verify that you are at the correct circulation desk.

- Go to Fulfillment > Checkout/Checkin > Return Items.
- Scan or type in the item barcode.
- Note any message or print window that pops up.

Renew an item:
Patrons can renew their own items online in Primo VE (aka One Search).
- Got o Fulfillment > Checkout/Checkin > Manage Patron Services.
- Enter the patron's MEID or name. Click Go. Or use
to find the patron.
- Click on the Loans tab.

- You have three renewal choices.
- Renew all loans: Click Renew All above the loaned items list.
- Renew individual titles: Click on the ellipsis next to the item and select Renew. Repeat for each item you want to renew.
- Use the checkboxes: Renew or change due date by checking the boxes on the left side of the list.
- If the item fails to renew, you will see an exception on the top of the screen.
