Editing Your Homepage with Primo Studio

  1. Discovery > Configure Views > Pick your college view >  More actions (ellipses) > Edit

  2. Click the Manage Customizaton Package tab

  3. Click Go to Primo Studio.

  4. Click Editor (left pane) > html\ > homepage\ > homepage_en.html

  5. You will see the HTML for your homepage.  Edit text.  

    1. Change the word Primo to One Search.

    2. Consider changing the list under “Sign-in in order to”:

      1. Renew books

      2. Create favorites lists

      3. Request books from other libraries

  6. Add your appropriate URLs for Ask a Librarian and Where can I get help?

  7. Click Apply Changes to see your edits.

  8. Click Download (left pane). Click Download again to save the entire customization with your modifications to your local computer. 

  9. Rename the downloaded zip folder following this format: <institution_code>-<view_code>.  For example: 01MARICOPA_INST-PC.

  10. Go back to the View Configuration tab (this browser tab should still be open)

  11. Upload the Customization Package that you saved on your computer. 

  12. Go back to the Primo Studio tab. 

  13. Click on UploadPackage (left pane). Choose the customization package from your computer again. (After clicking Upload package again, you should see your changes in the right pane.)

  14. You’ll want to be sure to click SAVE on the View Configuration tab when you’re all done with your edits.

  15. To see the changes, clear your cache or use a new browser.  It can take several minutes for your changes to appear.
