Alma/Primo VE Implementation

November 2025

• NDE View is introduced into the production environment.

• Ann and Karen conduct an initial review and identify areas requiring further evaluation.

December 2025

• NDE Views become available for all colleges and the District.

• LDG members begin a review and test of the new NDE UI.

Spring 2026

• College-specific NDE Views are shared with colleagues across the District for hands-on exploration. 

• LDG gathers feedback and begins making preliminary configuration decisions.  

August 2026–October 2026

• LDG continues configuration decision-making and begins implementing configurations and branding.

• Early customizations are developed and tested.

November 2026

• LDG participates in the 4-week Ex Libris cohort to deepen understanding of customization options.

Spring 2027

• Development of user guides, training materials, and instructional videos begins.  Update FAQs and LibGuides as necessary.

• Enable Mixpanel and begin training on user analytics.

Summer 2027

• Target date for switching over to the new NDE UI.

• Make request to hide all non-NDE views.
